Visit Our Campus

Kapiʻolani Community College (Kapiʻolani CC), one of ten colleges within the University of Hawaiʻi system, has a long, colorful history. Its solid reputation in culinary arts, hospitality, health services, liberal arts, and business education, is sprinkled with delightful stories of campus moves, student and faculty successes, and classroom innovations.

The Kapiʻolani CC campus is located on the slopes of Diamond Head crater just minutes from Waikīkī. To the north are the Ko‘olau Mountains, to the south Diamond Head and the Pacific Ocean. The eastern side of the campus offers a panoramic view of Koko Head and Maunalua Bay. To the west are Waikīkī and downtown Honolulu.

Our modern campus showcases twenty attractive buildings set around a lush central lawn, architecturally integrated with its beautiful natural surroundings. The building names serve as a reminder of the natural environment and reference native plants that are either endemic or indigenous to Hawai‘i. Some of the buildings feature signage near the entrance bearing their namesake plant.
